1

You’ve just created a description or a mental picture of what your event will look like. Now, what resources will it take to create in real life the picture that’s in your mind? The resources needed to accomplish your event will ultimately determine the budget you need.  So brainstorm all the resources you will need!  Then, for each one ask yourself…

  1. Does XA already own it?
  2. Is it something we can easily borrow?

If the answer to both of those questions is no, we will need to rent or buy that resource.  You’ll need to include an estimate of what you think that resource will cost.

To make this process as easy as possible and to keep everything uniform for those of us reviewing it all, we’ve created a template for you to use when creating your budget.  Follow the instructions below and then continue on to Step 2 to submit your completed budget to us.

How to use the Budget Template:

Requirements:  Google Drive account and a Laptop/Desktop Computer for filling out the form

  1. Click the button above to make a copy of our Budget Template to your Google Drive.
  2. A new window will open with your editable copy of the template and you’re ready to begin filling it in!
  3. When you’re done, choose File > Download as > Comma Separated Values (csv) and save the file for submitting in Step 2.
