About This Lesson
Jesus didn’t mention the church very much – in fact, the Gospels only record two places where he talked about it, in Matthew 16 and 18. But he seemed to talk about the Kingdom of God all the time; it was his main theme. Have a quick look through Matthew, Mark, or Luke and you will see scores of places where Jesus talks about the Kingdom of God – or the Kingdom of Heaven, as Matthew records it. What is the Kingdom, what is life like there, and how do we participate in the expansion of this Kingdom into every sphere of life?
